Updated the pic with a slighter different pic. Added some grain and adjusted some levels and curves and got a slightly older look, weathered look. I think it works better...what do you deem?

Hey guys-

Wrapped up a painting of Captain America punching Hitler in the face. In a way it's a homage to Captain America #, in which Cap is...punching Hitler in the face. I went for a World War II propaganda look with selling war bonds and vintage look. I painted this in acrylic washes, and lemme tell you....it's quite challenging but rewarding. Many many layers, but seeing it pull together was mighty cool. In addition, I threw in some color pencils to add some details, especially for the eye. I'm not quite sure if I like the effect with the Photoshop brushes with the aged effect, so if can suggest a better route, I'm all ears.

Love the WWII feel. Heck, just the simple detail of putting quotation marks around Cap's name and "Hit" give it even more character.
